Tolerance of Ambiguity ToA

Much of my career has been concerned with dealing with and managing uncertainty. I am now retired from fulltime senior management responsibility and coaching/mentoring on a pro-bono basis. Uncertainty and unpredictability in the business and private worlds is growing. People's ability to deal with this evident also. Looking back over my own career both as an engineer and manager I received  inputs that together with my personality and experiences resulted in my being deemed to be highly tolerant of ambiguity. Later in my consultancy role I encountered ToA as a highly regarded competence in problem solving and New Product Development. Also I found this competence of great use in project leadership roles and also in resolving conflict situations.
