All about Adamesk
Adamesk was set up by Marcus McInerney B.E., M.I.E., M.I.E.I., in January
1999.
Marcus has had a hands-on career in general management, manufacturing, product
development, marketing and distribution. This experience
includes both plant start-ups and business rationalisations with direct
responsibility for analysing strategic options and implementing
change.
This was followed by a consulting
career specialising in facilitating client organisations in
maximizing business and project performance, leadership
development, team development, conflict resolution, negotiation
skills, managing change and managing performance.
In addition a training career has been
developed in parallel with consultancy and coaching/mentoring.
Marcus has extensive international experience
working in the UK, continental Europe, central and Eastern
Europe, Japan, India and USA.
Eleven years of Marcus' career was spent with ABB.
He has many
years experience managing projects and consulting with and for
global Blue Chip Companies such as Analog Devices, APC, Kostal,General Motors, United Technologies, Ericsson, Yazaki,
Coca-Cola, HP, First Active, EBS, and AOL
Marcus has led multi-ethnic and multi-cultural
teams on successful projects both in Ireland and continental
Europe.
He is experienced especially in programme and
project management, and integrating these functions together
with account management, operations management, logistics and
marketing efforts.
History
January 1999
Business consultancy Adamesk Ltd established. Early
clients included ABB in London and Copenhagen. Assignments
included marketing & manufacturing rationalisations. Also
started doing some 1-2-1business coaching and mentoring for
managers in SME sector.
April 2000
Commenced training activities in Project Management, Change
Management, Leadership Development, Negotiation Skills, Conflict
Resolution, Team Building, FLM skills, e-Business and Customer
Care. Training activities carried out under the name Marcus
McInerney Consultancy and also developed consultancy
association with Strategic Management Group who are world
leaders in experiential learning using computer based
simulations.
April 2006
Launched new website to focus exclusively on One-2-One coaching
for SME sector.
